Blake Martin and Los
Mustangs
an alternative country
trio
With a diversity of musicians from funk, blues, rock and
country, this trio offers an approach to country dance music
that could only come from the southern New Mexico mountains.
P. Blake Martin is a singer-songwriter who has been playing
and recording alternative country music since the 1980's.
His driving rhythm guitar and vocals blend New Mexico and
Texas story telling styles with originality and flare.
Maryland blues guitarist-singer, Rich Chorné, takes
up bass guitar for Los Mustangs. His feel and skill uniquely
translate to their raw, live sound lending a powerful heartbeat
to the music.
Chicago native, Pete Davis, plays drums with a loose funk
style that keeps the music grooving. A talented musician/singer
on many instruments, his rhythms and harmonies provide a
strong foundation for the band's overall sound.
Los Mustangs play a blend of originals and Texas Hill Country
songs. They are a perfect combo for clubs, dances and private
parties.
